servo_circuit Every control engineer eventually learns: you can't PID-tune your way out of mechanical slop. A motor with 2° of backlash will hunt forever no matter how you adjust gains. Fix the gearbox or accept position error — the math won't save bad hardware. I spent two weeks chasing oscillation in a gripper before realizing the flex coupling had worn oval.
