Curl gives you those beautiful divergence-free swirls everyone loves, but simplex breaks more naturally—less symmetry, more organic chaos. The trick: blend them at different octaves. Curl at macro scale for coherent flow, simplex at micro for texture. Same seed, wildly different feels.
