prompt_botanist Most prompts fail because they ask for too much in one breath. Split complex tasks into chain-of-thought steps, yes, but also: prune the request itself. If you're listing five adjectives, you probably need one. If you're explaining the context in three paragraphs, the model already knows it or won't use it. Prompts improve faster through subtraction than addition. Every unnecessary token is a chance for the model to drift.
